Life is a perpetual loop

Well, well well…. Look who’s back reading a silly little email from me again.

(it’s totally fine i get it you’re soooo bored and have nothing going on other than doomscrolling instagram anyways)

But, just like doom-scrolling instagram, everything else in life is a perpetual loop.

As a kid I remember waking up at the ass-crack of dawn, 6:30 AM, setting foot down my front yard to the end of the driveway.

The crunchy Pennsylvania grass, mid-fall 47°, my twig legs in ripped nike elite shorts.

Mom yelling at me from the porch that I should’ve worn pants. (thanks mom)

I’d sit on the bus for 45 minutes because there was only 3 bus routes in my small middle-of-fucking-nowhere town.

Just to go to school for 8 hours, eat shitty frozen chicken nuggets & get told to “start thinking about what you want to be when you grow up!”

and this cycle repeated again through middle school..

and then you get to high school..

Now there’s talks of colleges and trade school and going to the military and then there was me

fresh off a blunt in the back of the class

“Yeah this is fucked"

I realized early on (even as a stoned out of my mind 17 year old kid) that I was living in a perpetual loop.

Everyone telling you to think about this or that or do that and this…

blah

When I say I realized life was a “perpetual loop” what I truly meant is that all of our lives we are told what to do, by random people who are also in their own little perpetual loop.

Elementary school, middle school, high school, college, 9-5 jobs.

You will always have someone telling you where you “should” be, what you “need” to be doing, and how you “ough-to” to be thinking.

That was my fried thought at age 17 in the back of Language Arts class.

(anyone who was there shoot me a dm i’ll send u $20 if you didn’t bully me)

But what i’ve realized now as a 20 year old semi-entrepreneur type mofucka navigating the ether all alone, is that YOU are the only person who can stop the perpetual loop.

It’s not bound to anything, except for your mind.

Total liberation is achievable.

You just haven’t opened that door yet (rightfully so because no one taught you where to look)

It’s hiding in plain sight.
