this has stuck with me for 2+ years

Something that I was told by my first ever “business coach” has stuck with me over the years.

“Business coach” as in life insurance pyramid scheme guy..

Not even going to elaborate, but just use your imagination.

Simply put, he gave me some homework after our third or so “business meeting”.

I was supposed to be cold calling my family members but I was hesitant and obviously didn’t want to because who the fuck wants to cold call their aunt and pitch her life insurance a week before thanksgiving dinner..

So I called no one.

Did absolutely nothing but procrastinate.

At our next meeting he asked how calling people was going.

I said “not so good..” to which he responded “well are you calling them and doing what I said?”

All I could say was:

 “I’m trying..”

Complete utter bullshit.

This is where he threw me for the ringer, which is what stuck with me for the last 2 years.

"There’s no such thing as TRYING. You either DO or you fucking DON’T..”

No such thing as trying.

Every time I talk to someone who’s a bit new to the entrepreneurial space or maybe just dabbling into it, they act as if they have so much time.

When in reality they have absolutely fucking nothing.

“I’m trying to learn this…”

“I’m working on this….”

“I’m trying to start this business..”

Everyone wants handouts.

Everyone wants directions.

Everyone wants it to be quick and easy.

And I mean truthfully you can build whatever business to $10k+/mo relatively quick in a matter of 30-60 days, but i’ll save that for another day.

But the only way to do it, is by simply DOING IT.

I’d say it’s common sense, but if it was common sense, it would be common knowledge.

Go make shit happen.
